Episode Overview
Dr. Monahan makes unwanted advances toward Kelly, and when she confronts him, he dismisses her concerns, labeling her as immature. Meanwhile, Brandon deceives Kelly about his whereabouts while spending the day with Emma, culminating in a kiss after he drives her home. Upon learning about Brandon’s connection with Kelly, Emma retaliates by writing columns to provoke him. David starts a job at a car wash, where he befriends a gay teenager and tries to persuade his parents to take him back since he’s been living there. David and Valerie plot to make their exes envious, leading to Donna throwing David out, forcing him to crash in Valerie’s room. At a comedy showcase at After Dark, Steve struggles initially but turns it around, later confessing to Carly that he plagiarized his material from Richard Belzer and sharing his past antics.
