Episode Overview
Emma feels hurt when she sees Kelly wearing the watch she had gifted to Brandon. Dr. Monahan is forced to leave the clinic after his inappropriate behavior toward Kelly. Emma encourages Kelly to expose him, leading Kelly to activate the intercom while Monahan is making another pass at her. Brandon storms in, and Monahan is promptly fired, with Donna's father stepping in as his replacement. Brandon asks Emma to quit the newspaper. She records a call where he confesses to their affair, using the tape to blackmail him. Meanwhile, Brandon and Steve bring in Janet Sosna as a new assistant and recruit David as a music reviewer. Donna is relieved when David admits his relationship with Valerie was fake. That same day, David and Valerie reconcile, while Donna plots to sleep with Noah for revenge. Noah rejects her plan but later lures her into bed with a private concert by Brian McKnight. Meanwhile, Valerie makes a deal with a bookie at the After Dark. Carly and Zach temporarily move
