Episode Overview
Brandon collaborates with an arrogant Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist on a story. Meanwhile, Kelly manages to secure a job for a young man with developmental disabilities at the clinic, but he becomes overwhelmed after a small error. Encouraged by Kelly, Brandon invites Chris to join them at a Los Angeles Kings practice, only for Raitt to leave for another assignment. Brandon then helps Chris land a coveted position at a friend’s ice skating rink. To cover his taxes, David takes on jingle writing, and a ballad he created for Valerie ends up featured in a deodorant ad. Steve realizes he and Jill lack common interests, leading her to end things before he can. Janet develops feelings for Steve, but he remains oblivious. Meanwhile, Donna discovers that the diamond jewelry from Noah is actually fake.
