Episode Overview
Brandon and Donna learn that Rush is the owner of the building where the sweatshop operates. Even though Rush claims he has no knowledge of any wrongdoing, Brandon finds evidence linking him to the clothing factory. Steve confronts Brandon, accusing him of betraying his father in a bid to enhance his reputation as an investigative journalist. The woman who spoke to Donna is let go, despite not having shared any information. She decides to bring attention to the appalling working conditions, leading Steve to confront Rush. Rush admits he might have been aware of the situation and vows to improve things. Amid the investigation, Steve forgets his promise to take Zach to Magic Mountain. David and Donna struggle to find time for each other due to their hectic schedules. Meanwhile, David's band, Cain Was Able, continues to act unprofessionally and make discriminatory comments. David's financial troubles worsen. Kelly is unable to identify the shooter in a police lineup, frustrating Brandon, who is convinced he recognized the right person. Valerie
