Episode Overview

Following a conversation with Fran, Ira, and Mark, the Buchmans discover that their friends are embroiled in a major conflict stemming from Fran and Ira's new relationship. In an effort to mend fences, Jamie organizes a dinner for everyone. Meanwhile, Lance Brockwell announces his candidacy for mayor, prompting Jamie and Fran to step in as campaign managers. Jamie struggles with Paul’s opinion that Giuliani would be a superior choice. When Jamie requests Paul to create a campaign commercial, the result exceeds expectations, rallying support for Brockwell, much to Paul’s dismay.
