Episode Overview
Punky's teacher, Mike Fulton, invites his friend, the boxer Marvelous Marvin Hagler, to speak to the class about the sport. During lunch, the school bully, Moose McGurk, starts stealing food from Punky's friends, but Punky stands her ground. In retaliation, Moose drags her into the restroom and physically confronts her. Determined to face Moose, Punky seeks training from Marvin, but he ultimately tells her that boxing isn't her strong suit. When a fight between Moose and Punky is scheduled behind the apartment building, Cherie steps in, warning Moose that if she fights Punky, she'll have to take on Cherie too. The other kids back Cherie, and feeling overwhelmed, Moose backs down and flees home.
