Episode Overview

Punky decides to gift Henry a pocket watch for Christmas. Just before the holiday, wealthy businessman Horatio Lake is robbed of his briefcase, prompting Punky to investigate. She uncovers that Jerry Lake, Mr. Lake's son, orchestrated the theft. Punky explains to Mr. Lake that Jerry planned to keep the briefcase hidden until the police lost interest, hoping to later find it and gain his father's approval. Realizing he had neglected Jerry's emotional needs, Mr. Lake vows to change. As a thank-you for her detective work and for mending their father-son relationship, Mr. Lake gifts Punky the pocket watch, which she then presents to Henry.
