Zummi presents Cubbi with a whistle he found in his old treasure chest just as Sunni struggles to keep up with babysitting him. However, the whistle unexpectedly summons a brine dragon, whisking Sunni and Cubbi away on an unforeseen journey to Drekmore Castle.
