The Norm Show (1999)

Episode Overview

Mr. Curtis exits the scene after attempting to eliminate Norm. Laurie believes she’s secured the boss position, but it ultimately goes to someone else. Norm adores the new boss, Mr. Denby, since he doesn’t impose any work on him. In contrast, Laurie initially despises Denby. However, her feelings shift when she’s promoted to co-supervisor. She quickly grows to dislike the role upon discovering she has to fire a colleague, prompting her resignation. Norm and Danny plot to reclaim her job by trying to get Mr. Denby dismissed for alleged racial slurs. Although Denby hasn’t said anything offensive, Norm fabricates a story, claiming he’s offended as a Gypsy. Their scheme succeeds, and Laurie regains her position.
