Castle and Beckett are summoned to a wedding to look into the death of a bridesmaid, and Castle is taken aback to find that the bride is his former love, Kyra, who he refers to as "the one that got away." As Kyra grapples with Castle's unexpected presence, she begins to question whether she is making the right choice in marrying her fiancé. With the wedding on hold and everyone involved becoming a suspect, Beckett is concerned about Castle's ability to remain impartial. However, as sparks fly between Castle and Kyra, Beckett realizes her own judgment might be clouded too.
