Castle (2009)

Episode Overview

While promoting his novel, Heat Wave, on a late-night talk show, Castle is startled when the iconic host Bobby Mann leans in during a commercial break to confide, "They want me dead." Later that evening, Mann is found dead, apparently from natural causes, prompting Castle to persuade Beckett that something sinister is at play. As they delve into the mystery, Castle finds himself drawn to a glamorous actress who was also a guest on the show the night of the host's demise.
