Beckett and the team at the 12th Precinct investigate the murder of a student enrolled in an English as a Second Language program. However, the victim's classmates are tight-lipped, leaving the police with few leads. To uncover the truth, Castle takes on the role of a French Canadian immigrant and discovers that the victim had a more complex life than initially believed.
