Jason and Jackie learned that surgery wasn't an option for Paddy, leaving them in limbo as they awaited developments. Jason almost caught Tanya in a compromising situation with Darius but chose to share his dark secret with her instead. Hazel advised the Pascoes to publicly present baby Paddy to quell media speculation. Meanwhile, at Sal's home, Hazel dealt with a tipsy Freddie who was incessantly suggesting a threesome. Jason and Tanya resolved to work on their marriage, while Archie's persistent advances for a date annoyed Freddie. Tanya resorted to bribing the matron and hiring a double for her community service, only to face Nurse Janette Dunkley, the sole keeper of the truth about Frank.
