In the gripping season finale, TAPS heads to the infamous Hindenburg disaster site. The team is restricted to the Main Hangar, which is notorious for its paranormal occurrences, due to its location on a large naval base. For those unfamiliar, the Hindenburg was a German airship filled with hydrogen that tragically caught fire while attempting to dock at Lakehurst Naval Base in 1937, resulting in 36 fatalities. The event was famously captured on film, leaving behind a legacy of ghostly sightings, including shadowy figures and unexplained noises. After touring the expansive base, Jay and Grant begin their investigation in Hangar 1, where they initially mistake a thermal reading of a figure for a ghost, only to discover it’s just equipment.
