Kentucky is home to many ghostly tales, and tonight, TAPS heads to the Bluegrass State to explore The Belle of Louisville, the oldest operational steamboat in the country. While its vibrant exterior is striking, the boat carries a dark past filled with rumors, mystery, and murder. Captain Winters, a notorious figure, allegedly sent his mate Floyd to the paddle wheel and activated it, leading to Floyd's death. Winters himself later passed away from a heart attack on board. Current captain Mark Doty is skeptical of the supernatural, but his crew has experienced unsettling phenomena, including shadowy figures, strange lights, and whispers—some even claiming to have encountered Captain Winters' ghost. As tension rises, Captain Doty seeks TAPS’ help to reassure his night watchmen. During the investigation, Britt and Michelle discover that elevated EMF levels might be allowing spirits to travel between the steamboat and a nearby lifesaving station.
