Helen files felony murder charges against Gary Armbrust for his false testimony intended to protect his father. Meanwhile, Rebecca takes on a pro bono case for a man accused of murder. She uncovers evidence that challenges the credibility of the arresting officer's testimony. Despite this, Judge Swackheimer, who has already had the outspoken defendant restrained, rules the evidence irrelevant and excludes it from the trial. Concurrently, Bobby investigates a series of mysterious deaths linked to a cosmetic surgery facility.
