Bobby successfully defends a murderer by exploiting a technicality, as the arresting officer conducted an unlawful search of the vehicle and uncovered a body. Meanwhile, Jimmy defies Henry Olson's wishes and approaches Olson's son, hoping to persuade him to admit to the murder. In a personal turn, Lindsay makes the decision to move in with Bobby, but she leaves behind her belongings, including her answering machine, at Helen's place.
