Sue receives an invitation to a high school friend's wedding, despite their past where Sue was ridiculed. Meanwhile, the gang embarks on a mission to track down five escaped prisoners following a prison van's crash with a semi-truck. During their search for Jed, they uncover that Wendy Stack had testified against him due to abuse, raising questions about her motives for visiting him post-trial. As the wedding approaches, Sue battles resurfacing feelings about her past treatment. Jack attempts to strike a deal to locate Jed. Complicating matters, David can't attend the wedding, opting for a flower show instead. At the event, Sue faces mockery when a guest mistakes her hearing dog, Levi, for a guide dog. The football player reflects on his missed opportunity to defend Sue, realizing the challenges of growing up.
