Sue teams up to search for Katie, who has been abducted from Gallaudet University. During their investigation, Sue and Jack interrogate Lance, who insists he is not responsible for Katie's disappearance, but they remain skeptical of his claims. As the search intensifies, Sue discovers that Katie was adopted and recently connected with her biological mother after nearly two decades apart.
