Miko, the new student from Japan, is thrilled to start her journey at Eastland and experience life in America. However, her overprotective father disapproves, believing that Eastland isn’t the right environment for her. Tensions rise when Miko sneaks out to attend a rock concert, leading to her borrowing Jo's bike, which ends up costing $400 in repairs.
