The Storyteller (1988)

Episode Overview

Hans, a hedgehog-boy, feels alienated in his village and decides to flee. Two decades later, he encounters a king who has lost his way in the forest and assists him in returning to his realm. As a token of gratitude, the king promises Hans the first sight he will see upon re-entering his kingdom. However, when that sight turns out to be the king's stunning daughter, Hans faces a choice between despair and the possibility of love. This story is inspired by an old German folktale.
