A young girl, raised by a cruel troll, finally escapes her dire situation with the assistance of a majestic white lion. Heartbroken when her fiancé fails to return from a journey, she discovers that the troll's sister has cast a spell on him, intending to marry him herself. Just when hope seems lost, the white lion reappears, offering the girl three enchanted gifts to aid her in her quest. This tale draws inspiration from an old German folk story.
