Eyewitness War (2013)

Episode Overview

In a secluded military outpost high in the mountains of Afghanistan, troops find themselves under siege by the Taliban. Normally, the soldiers would launch a fierce counterattack, but a sudden hailstorm obscures their vision, forcing them to remain cautious. As the enemy seizes the opportunity to advance, the soldiers face the daunting decision to launch a missile from their position. Meanwhile, close to Kandahar, an experienced soldier leads a group of inexperienced recruits during the assault, only to realize that four of his men are trapped and unarmed in the midst of enemy fire.
