Episode Overview

While a NATO convoy transporting fuel and water is ambushed on Highway 1, U.S. soldiers are forced to defend hundreds of vehicles from a relentless Taliban attack for several hours. As their ammunition dwindles, their strategies become increasingly desperate. Meanwhile, Marines on patrol near a canal in Helmand province find themselves caught in a vicious ambush. In a courageous act, one soldier charges into the fray, braving enemy fire to save a fellow soldier who is trapped and under heavy attack.
