Episode Overview

Title: The Magnus Beam Plot: An enigmatic device is wreaking havoc on American U2 aircraft. Tasked with locating and neutralizing this threat, Captain Crane goes incognito. He receives assistance from a nightclub singer who secretly fights against the enemy. However, Crane is apprehended and brutally tortured. Concurrently, aboard the Seaview, Major Amadi requests asylum. To demonstrate his loyalty, he offers to guide the submarine to the source of the devastating magnetic weapon that has been downing the U2s. Nelson, however, remains wary, suspecting that Amadi's intentions may lead the Seaview to disaster.
