Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1964)

Episode Overview

The Seaview is collaborating with Russian scientists to recover the remnants of a Soviet underwater laboratory. During the descent of a scientist in the diving bell, a massive whale suddenly appears and crashes into it, smashing the glass and resulting in his death. Undeterred, Nelson and the remaining Russian scientist, Katya Markova, embark on a second dive. However, the whale returns and swallows the diving bell entirely! Captain Crane and the Seaview crew must now race against the clock to locate the bell and rescue Nelson and Markova before they run out of oxygen.
