Captain Gantt, a self-absorbed scientist, is aboard a nuclear submarine conducting tests on a revolutionary fuel. His carelessness leads to the sub colliding with a massive web, awakening a terrifying sea spider. The crew of the Seaview springs into action, racing against time to recover the remaining fuel canisters before the immense underwater pressure causes the test sub to implode and trigger a catastrophic explosion that could claim millions of lives!
