Episode Overview

Teruhi calls Jinzabur? to a strategy meeting, but after opposing S? Sukekuni's belief that the Mongols will bypass Tsushima, he is dismissed. He encounters Sh?ni Kagasuke, disguised as a monk, who requests his assistance in defending Tsushima for a week while he gathers reinforcements, offering Jinzabur? the cherished sword of Minamoto no Yoshitsune. The following day, the Mongol fleet arrives at Sasu Bay, and S? Sukekuni leads his troops to confront them. He assigns Jinzabur? to guard Teruhi and prepares for battle. Despite initially repelling the Mongols, S? Sukekuni's forces face devastating explosives from ships and are ultimately overrun by 1,000 Goryeo soldiers, resulting in S? Sukekuni's death.
