Episode Overview

During a standard speed enforcement operation, Chris and Gail encounter a chaotic scene on a city highway when an accident occurs. They discover one of the vehicles is curiously vacant and soon notice that its license plate corresponds to one being featured in an urgent “Amber Alert” for a kidnapped nine-year-old girl. The driver of this car is the main suspect. This sets off a frantic search that includes an intricate questioning of the child’s parents. As usual, deep secrets lie beneath the surface.
