Moving On (2009)

Episode Overview

When Joanne learns that her son Jamie is being bullied, she believes that his Catholic school will step in to help him. To her dismay, she finds out the bullying stems from the other kids believing he is gay. Headmaster Mr. Georgeson maintains strict discipline and expresses his disdain for bullying, yet he cannot accept homosexuality. Meanwhile, Joanne's husband Dave advises her to stay out of it, insisting Jamie will eventually get over it. However, Jamie's situation is far more dire than they understand, and without the support of his school and parents, he may resort to drastic actions.
