Overview
Running from 1977 to 1982, In Search of... explored enigmatic phenomena through a captivating weekly format. The series emerged following the acclaim of three one-hour documentaries by Alan Landsburg: In Search of Ancient Astronauts (1973) and the pair from 1975, In Search of Ancient Mysteries and The Outer Space Connection. Initially, Rod Serling was considered to host the spin-off, but following his untimely passing, Leonard Nimoy was chosen to guide viewers through the intriguing investigations. Each episode delved into the mysteries that continue to fascinate and perplex audiences.
