Episode Overview

As they trail Satotz, a thick fog envelops the swamp, causing many participants to lose consciousness or fall victim to lethal traps and ferocious creatures. A group of candidates decides to target Hisoka, perceiving him as a threat. Meanwhile, Gon and Killua become separated from Leorio and Kurapika, and both groups are soon besieged by monsters. Leorio and Kurapika stumble upon Hisoka, who is about to be ambushed by the candidates, and they watch in disbelief as he effortlessly defeats them. Hisoka then turns his attention to Leorio and Kurapika, but the duo quickly realizes they can’t stand against him and split up to evade. However, Leorio can't resist the urge to fight and returns, only to be brutally beaten by Hisoka. Just as the situation escalates, Gon, who has lost track of Killua, shows up to confront Hisoka.
