Fraggle Rock (1983)

Episode Overview

During a storytelling session in Gobo's room, Gobo expresses his desire to hear about Uncle Matt's first major adventure. The scene shifts to a flashback featuring a young Matt, who is dressed similarly to Gobo, alongside Uncle Gobo, who finds his nephew to be rather bothersome and naive. In those days, Fraggles primarily feasted on mushrooms or Doozer constructions, but when the mushrooms run dry, Uncle Gobo and Matt set out to search for food. Unfortunately, Matt triggers a rock quake that injures Uncle Gobo’s leg. Venturing off on his own, Matt encounters a rock slide that reveals an opening to the Gorg's Garden. After startling Ma and Pa Gorg, he returns with what he believes is a shiny red boulder—a radish—ultimately introducing a new food source for the Fraggles.
