Episode Overview

While Gobo, Red, and Wembley are on a quest for interesting treasures, Wembley discovers an old green bottle and brings it back to his cave. As he polishes the bottle, a genie suddenly appears, and Wembley is thrilled—until he realizes the genie has other plans. The genie wreaks havoc by destroying Gobo and Red's finds and scaring Boober with ghostly laundry. Gobo insists they must get rid of this troublesome genie, but the genie retorts that he’s tired of Gobo's orders. Eventually, Wembley agrees with Gobo and devises a plan to trap the genie back in the bottle and bury it. Though they succeed, Wembley feels sympathy for the genie and releases him. Later, when Gobo accidentally breaks the bottle while showing it off, Wembley admits he freed the genie. The genie returns, transforming the Fraggles into a look-alike army, leaving Wembley to confront the situation and stand up for himself to restore balance.
