After 15 years abroad in Asia due to Erik's sales career, Dutch couple Sandra and Erik decided it was time to put down roots as they welcomed children into their family. When Erik received a job offer in Istanbul, Turkey, they felt it was an ideal blend of cultures for their well-traveled family. However, with Istanbul's booming economy, the housing market has become increasingly competitive, making their home search more challenging. As an interior designer, Sandra envisions renovating an older property to reflect her personal style and Dutch heritage. With their kids about to start school, they enlist the help of real estate agent Birgit Ingen Housz to find the perfect home swiftly.
