King Triton and the residents of Atlantica are thrilled to hear that their champion, Apollo, is making his return. Curious, Ariel and Flounder ask Triton about him, prompting Triton to recount a tale from two decades ago. Atlantica faced a fierce battle against the Octipins, who possessed a triton with even greater magic than Triton’s own. In a clever move, Apollo snuck through the vines and shattered it. Just as Triton finishes his story, Apollo arrives. He and Ariel embark on an adventure together, but soon, Ariel and Flounder discover that Apollo's past victory was merely a fluke. Ursula resurrects the Octipins and grants them eight magical tritons, transforming Apollo into a true hero.
