At lunchtime on match day, the second-years boost their spirits by indulging in tonkatsu, hoping for a stroke of good luck. Later, while Ryo and Matsuda head back to their classroom, they catch snippets of a conversation among the third-years, revealing their frustrations about the second-years’ strong chances in the rankings. Ryo brushes off their complaints, concentrating on the upcoming matches, but Matsuda can't shake off his worried demeanor.
