Episode Overview

When Phoebe Morton is killed while on the phone with a 911 operator, detectives Goren and Eames jump into the investigation. They quickly discover that Morton is one of five women who have been murdered in a similar manner by a perpetrator dubbed Body By Jake (B.B.J.). Their inquiries lead them to Keith Durbin, a recently paroled man who seems too perfect. Despite his seemingly innocent demeanor, Goren harbors doubts about Durbin. As they uncover a pattern of earlier murders, Goren and Eames shift their focus to a different suspect, realizing that while Durbin may be innocent, he's crucial to solving the case.
