Episode Overview

The sudden death of city health inspector Larry Chapel in an elevator prompts an investigation that leads to his grieving brother, Evan, and his young daughter, Gwen. Detective Goren discovers that Evan's fiancée, Nicole Wallace, is involved, raising suspicions. However, as the Major Case team delves deeper, they realize they’ve misidentified the real culprit. Goren hopes to enlist Nicole’s assistance in ensnaring the murderer.
