Cal remains puzzled by the elusive double key code. In search of answers, he visits a remote convent to consult his mute great-aunt Millicent, who hasn't uttered a word in over a decade. Will he manage to coax out her hidden truths? While sifting through Millicent's possessions, Cal stumbles upon correspondence from Piers Ormond, his great-great-grandfather. The letters confirm his suspicions: the two missing lines of the Riddle hold the key to the Singularity. He pursues Sheldrake Rathbone, the Ormond family lawyer, hoping to uncover Piers Ormond's will. Yet, not all lawyers are trustworthy, and Cal's quest for answers could lead to his downfall.
