Blue's Clues (1996)

Episode Overview

Steve invents a device that allows him to change the TV channel without having to get up, but when he discovers such a gadget already exists, it motivates him to come up with something truly original under the motto "try again." Excited to help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper with their craving for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, he soon realizes that the sandwich is already a well-known creation. We join Shovel and Pail for an invention-themed game, looking at pictures of various inventions and learning about their historical order. Eventually, we skidoo into an invention factory to explore iconic creations like the train and the car.
