The Closer (2005)

Brenda and her team look into the owner of a trendy hip-hop label after a shooting claims the life of one of his artists along with six bystanders. The incident strikes a personal chord with Gabriel, who recognizes two of the victims from his church. At the same time, Chief Delk prepares to unveil the department's new organizational structure while Brenda finds herself facing a civil lawsuit filed against the police department.
