As Molly embarks on a new job in a different city, she and J.D. share an intimate evening filled with kisses, during which he desperately attempts to get closer to her before her departure. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox is assigned to ambulance duty alongside a reckless partner. He soon discovers that this wild individual is a woman grieving the loss of her son in a tragic accident.
