Episode Overview

Laverne is in a coma, and her loved ones make the heartbreaking choice to disconnect her life support. As the hospital team bids farewell to her, Carla remains in denial, struggling to confront the reality of the situation. This denial leads her to experience visions of Laverne's spirit. In another part of the hospital, Jordan goes into labor, but Dr. Cox is reluctant to share the news of their daughter's arrival, fearing that her birthday will forever be linked to the sorrow of Laverne's passing.
