Episode Overview
Judge Hiller tasks Lindsay with the distasteful job of defending Michael Kingston, the man accused of murdering a nun. As she digs deeper, Lindsay realizes that the police search that uncovered the body was unconstitutional, leading her to reluctantly argue for Kingston's release. Helen passionately counters, emphasizing that the Constitution is meant to safeguard the innocent, and Kingston doesn't fit that description. Ultimately, Judge Hiller has no alternative but to exclude the body from evidence and dismiss the case. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Rebecca are defending a man charged with solicitation, asserting that the undercover officer seduced him before revealing her identity as a prostitute. Jimmy also sets up a private discussion with Judge Kittleson.
