Episode Overview

Buzz and Sonya are busy planning a dance to raise money for a new gym at the high school. Inspired by Mama's old treasures from the attic and her nostalgic tales of the gym's past as a U.S.O. during the war, they decide on a 1940s theme. However, the rest of the committee prefers a Punk Rock vibe and books a trendy band called Medication instead. Disheartened, Mama allows them to sell her belongings at a junk sale. After a heartfelt conversation with Fran, she realizes the sentimental value of her items and rushes to the gym to retrieve them, only to discover that the band has been arrested and won't perform. In a last-minute effort to salvage the event, Mama plays her old records, and everyone ends up enjoying themselves.
