Episode Overview
Mama decides it’s time to get a car after her Meals on Wheels job falls through due to transportation issues. With her savings of a thousand dollars, she sets out to find a vehicle. Spotting an ad for “Willie Potts Used Cars,” she recalls that Vint knows him from living nearby. Reminiscing about Willie’s fondness for her oatmeal cookies, she bakes him a batch, hoping for a good deal. When Mama arrives, Willie pretends not to recognize her but offers to paint any car blue for her. She insists it needs to be blue from the start. After some haggling, she settles on a car for $1000, but it turns out to be a total lemon, and Willie refuses to refund her. Later, Mama unexpectedly interrupts an important meeting between Willie and Oscar Babcock from Ray Corp, who is looking to make a big purchase.
