Episode Overview

Vint excitedly brings home a new electric blanket he got for signing up for a life insurance policy. Moments later, his insurance agent arrives to have him sign the documents, and to Vint's surprise, it's Stony Hall, an ex-boyfriend of Naomi's. Stony reveals that the policy is valued at $200,000 in case of accidental death, prompting Vint to declare that Naomi is the sole beneficiary, much to Mama's concern. Shortly after, Vint starts encountering a series of mishaps. He nearly electrocutes himself while fiddling with Naomi's hair dryer, and then he tumbles down the basement stairs after slipping on a bottle of her nail polish, resulting in a sprained ankle. This leads Iola to suspect that Naomi may be trying to get rid of Vint for the money. Mama shares this suspicion, especially after Bubba catches Naomi and Stony dining together at a Chinese restaurant, the insurance policy in hand.
