Cover Up (1984)

Episode Overview

Alex Kendall enlists the help of two hitmen to take out a rival who posed a danger to him. They eliminate the threat by sabotaging a plane he’s traveling on. When Alex shows his dissatisfaction with the operation, fearing his reaction, the hitmen decide to monitor him closely. Meanwhile, Mac has a new girlfriend named Cindy, whose neighbor, Vanessa, happens to be Kendall's secret lover. The hitmen attempt to plant a listening device in Vanessa's apartment, but when Cindy arrives, chaos ensues, leading her to call Mac for assistance—though she's too late, as Mac ends up getting arrested. Dani steps in to offer her support.
