Episode Overview
Elliot Dawson, a former associate of Henry who has turned to writing, reaches out for help, claiming he's in danger. They arrange to meet, but Jack Striker, an outrider, intercepts him. Dawson hints that his manuscript holds crucial information, but before he can elaborate, the men pursuing him arrive, forcing them to split up. While Jack confronts the threats, Dawson manages to slip away. Later, Henry assigns Jack to team up with Dani to locate Dawson, who is suffering from amnesia and refuses hospital treatment. At a fashion show hosted by Lady Abigail Babcock and her aide, Donald Rutledge, Dawson is spotted, prompting Rutledge to alert Malcolm Caine, who orders Dawson to be captured. Henry discovers Caine's unsavory reputation and learns he's scheming to involve Lady Babcock in a casino venture, relying on Rutledge, whose wife is institutionalized.
